Clean, pure water for your employees doesn’t have to break the bank. Pure Water Virginia offers an array of reverse osmosis water coolers for less than $2 a day or with ICE for less than $5.
Single Filter COolers
Ordinary water filters physically screen dirt and sediment particles from the water down to about one micron but does not remove dissolved chemicals. Single filter coolers (SFC) with an in-line filtration cartridge may reduce the following:
- Chlorine taste and odor
- Zinc
- Copper
- Cadmium
- Mercury
We recently performed a TDS* test on the particles in the water from a Single Filter Cooler in an office in downtown Richmond, VA. Our test results showed 84 particles of dissolved solids. We then took another sample from the kitchen sink tap, and that was 88. The test proved all this office was getting was chilled water with almost zero health benefits. They were paying for something that wasn’t doing anything to help the water quality.
Pure Water Virginia Solution
Once we showed our findings, we placed a Wellsys W9 in their office for a FREE trial. At the installation, we tested the water quality with another TDS test to find the total particles of dissolved solids were down to 9!
How is this accomplished? All Wellsys water coolers offered through Pure Water Virginia have reverse osmosis technology, proven to give you the cleanest, most pure water available.
Reverse Osmosis
We discussed what single filters eliminate from the water, but what makes reverse osmosis (RO) better? Here are some things an RO system removes from your drinking water.
- Arsenic
- Barium
- Cadmium
- Chromium
- Copper
- Cyst (cryptosporidium)
- Fluoride
- Lead
- Nitrates and nitrites
- Radium
- Selenium
- Total dissolved solids (TDS)
Why is reverse osmosis better?
RO is one of the most effective forms of water filtration because, unlike chemical or carbon filtration systems, which use certain materials to attract or directly target the contaminants, RO pushes water through a microscopically small filter material.
This semi-permeable membrane has a pore size of around 0.0001 microns, only allowing the small water molecules through and catching any larger contaminants, organic materials, or even salt molecules.
What does TDS Mean?
The TDS meter reading simply refers to the total dissolved solids in your water; it will not tell you what those solids are and if they harm your health. For example, you could have a high TDS meter reading but no harmful contaminants in your water.
